By default, your data is stored in your local Chrome storage. Additionally, for added security, users can opt for Google Sign-In to backup data on encrypted and secure Google servers. You also have the option to delete your entire data after signing out if desired.

Yes, Pronoto is fully compatible with web-based and desktop video conferencing apps. For seamless integration:
Web-based apps:
- Open Pronoto Teleprompter or Notes app in your web browser.
- Arrange Pronoto and your video conferencing platform side by side for simultaneous usage.
- Begin your video conference and utilize Pronoto's features for smooth script reading or note-taking.
Desktop apps:
- Click on the Pronoto floating icon in Teleprompter.
- Overlay Teleprompter on desktop apps and enjoy reading your scripts or notes directly on your desktop while using video conferencing apps like Zoom, Meet, Teams, and others.
🚨 Important Note: ProNoto is Currently Exclusive to Google Chrome.

If you are encountering issues logging in to your Google account within ProNoto using Google Chrome, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet. A stable internet connection is required to log in to your Google account.
- Verify Google Account Credentials: Double-check that you are entering the correct Google account credentials (email and password). Typos or incorrect login information can prevent successful authentication.
- Use the Latest Version of ProNoto: Make sure you are using the latest version of the ProNoto extension. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues with Google login functionalities.
- Browser Compatibility: Ensure that you are using a supported browser. ProNoto is designed to work optimally with Chrome browsers. Check if your browser is up-to-date and consider trying a different browser if the issue persists.
- Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Over time, accumulated browser cache and cookies can sometimes interfere with login processes. Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try logging in again.
Note: If you are using a version of ProNoto prior to 6.5.9, we recommend updating to the latest version to benefit from performance improvements and latest bug fixes.
If you are still facing issues, here are some steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. If your internet is not working properly, you won't be able to connect to ChatGPT.
Clear Browser Cache: Cached data in your browser might be causing conflicts. Clear your browser cache and try reconnecting to ChatGPT.
Logout and Login Again to ChatGPT: Sometimes, a simple logout and login can resolve connection problems. Please log out of your ChatGPT account and then log in again to see if the issue persists.
Firewall or Antivirus Settings: Check your firewall or antivirus settings to ensure they are not blocking the connection to ChatGPT. Adjust the settings if necessary.
The ProNoto extension will be automatically updated based on the Chrome browser's refresh intervals. However, if you wish to manually update the extension, you can follow these steps in the article: [How to Update a Google Chrome Extension]
Note: Please make sure to backup your data using the Backup feature in the Account before performing an update.
If the extension is not loading, please try reloading the page. Sometimes, the extension may need a page refresh to function properly.
Please Note: The extension works effectively on all pages except for Chrome pages like Web Store, Extension settings, and Google Homepage, as there are certain restrictions imposed by the Google browser.
